World Tour
I am going to attempt approx 50,000 KM on 3 different trips before I leave my 50’s. The first Two trips will be my tribute to the world’s greatest ever traveler Ibn Battuta and the third trip is a tribute to one of the world’s greatest revolutionary Che Guevara who discovered himself during a long motorcycle journey. I am ready and about to leave on my first trip within a few days. This will be approx 15, 000 KM and is going to be called ‘Hello Ibn Battuta Motorcycle Camping’. The second trip will be called ‘Motorcycle footsteps of Ibn Battuta and the third one; ‘Motorcycle footsteps of Che Guevara. I am taking a professional cameraman/director Andrew with me to film most of this travel to share with all of you by a series of documentaries and books. I hope from you to share your travel and history tips on my route. I mean please recommend me your favorite sites and people who I should see or meet on my route. Here is the brief of my first route. I will be interviewing academic and successful people in their fields. Please could you recommend anyone worthwhile you know on my routes. My first trip which is starting within a few days (depending on the weather conditions) is a visit to 25 to 30 countries of North Africa, west and East Europe. The purpose of my journey is to research the life of Ibn Battuta and to share it with you all. I will be spending sometime in the birth place of Ibn Battuta in Tangiers, Morocco as he spent lots of time at my birth place during his thirty years of travel to Arabia, Central Asia, Silk road, Pakistan, India, China and Africa.
